Parenting Through Change
An Information and Support Group for Separated Parents
with Elementary School-Aged Children

Many parents who are separated or divorcing often feel overwhelmed:  grieving the loss of the intact family they hoped to raise their children in, parenting alone at a time when children may be most needy, balancing work, parenting and self.  These are just a few of the issues.

Separation is a time of change, which is often stressful.  Demands on parents can interfere with quality parenting yet this is a time when children need careful and sensitive parental guidance more than ever.

What this group provides is connection with others who are going through similar difficult circumstances, insights and information on parenting skills that have been proven to work with children, and hope and support that you can create a balanced and meaningful life for yourself and your children.

This is a research-tested, clinically proven* program that can bolster family resources and enhance the likelihood that parents and children will make a good adjustment.
